The Hong Kong Tourism Board has established the MEHK (Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong) office to continue strengthening our reputation as a premier location in Asia for MICE visitors through its local and overseas network.

The "Meetings and Exhibitions Hong Kong" office is charged with the following key strategic focuses and deliverables:

• Provide one-stop professional support and customised services for the MICE sector including business building, advisory services and marketing support.
• Offer value-added hospitality programmes and services for MICE organisers and participants.
• Strengthen the branding of Hong Kong as the MICE destination in the Asia Pacific region by launching an integrated marketing campaign named "Hong Kong – Converging Possibilities" and conducting overseas promotions with the industry and MICE travel trade.

As the first move to promote Hong Kong as a premier MICE destination, we had a global launch of MEHK office in Hong Kong on November 13, 2008 and later covered 12 markets including London, Shanghai, Delhi and Mumbai, Taipei, Barcelona, Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul and New York reaching out to thousands of our MICE partners and corporate clients.
